I have an Imp with a 888 as well. I don't worry about breaking the hanger. It's just a peice of flat iron cut in a funny shape. you could make your own with a file and a drill If you do end up breaking it.

its called a swinger 6-way because it can be adjusted in 6 different ways. the swinger 4 has 4 adjustments. It has nothing to do with the bike.

one thing amazing about this frame is its ability to do anything. The adjustable wheelbase means you can set it up short for street/park or aninch longer for dh like mine. I have a 888 (not in pic) on mine with mag 30's and fat ass tires. Its works perfectly. This guy has 1/2 the travel, set it up for the complete opposite of dh and it still works perfectly! At 6.5 lbs it's not to tank-ish but can handle anything. Buy this bike! Plus their a rare breed so anyone who knows bikes will be staring as you ride by!

no. sram and shimano are not compatiable. They use different leverage ratios so instead of shifting up 1 gear you would shift up 2 with a single push of the lever on the shifter.

I like the detail on the head tube and bars but the colours make me cringe. Ano purple should not exist.

don't listen to this vroomvroom character. the only thign you could possibly damage by landing a ltitle bit crooked while bunnyhoping would be your rim. And if your bending your rim by landing a bunnyhop crooked...you have some serious issues with your rim. Your axle and hub have nothing to do with it. As for the crank falling off(even though it's probally fixed by now) it will have nothing to do with bearings...and whats this ring on the crank your talking about? The crank is just bolted stright to the bottom bracket using an 8mm bolt. If it's falling off, you either have the incorrect spacers in-between your bb and frame (but you bought it already built up so that shouldnt be the problem) or your 8mm bolt is coming loose and needs some locktite.

it's not a horribly technical trail. i rode it a month ago and was expecting something alot more challenging than it actually turned out to be. i was also dissapointed to find that this gap was taken out. o well. beauty photo

nice looking frame but the bottom of the downtube erks me. what ever happened to a single tube? there are so many un-needed welds. In my mind more welds = more places to crack. but maybe it's just me.
