now what could possibly make you think those are Tylers lever? (sarcasm)
nothingbetter commented under mikelevy's blog ( Dec 30, 2011 at 9:05 )
Obviously I havn't seen you change a tire. Any tire lever can snap. I've seen plenty of levers snap and most of them because of one reason. People think that since they have a lever they can just grunt the tire off. Not true. You still have to use finesse and proper tire placement on the rim with a lever. Pretend your using your fingers to remove the tire, but use the lever as a slight advantage so you don't hurt your fingers. Thats it, don't turn into the hulk and you shouldn't have a problem.

I didn't take them a year to build it. According to the rest of the series, it snowed in October and they got back out riding it again in July. So they were snowed out for roughly 8 months. Also said they had been out there about 25 times to build/ride. So they're out there 2-3 days a week after work untill dusk. Divide those 25 days between scouting, rough out your lines, dig, cut, re-route your lines, dig more, cut more, other stuff, and ride. Sounds to me like they got it done in good time.

even more so. It becomes even more important for proper care due to the silly "femenine ideal" and what not.

Nicely done! Fall riding out here is awesome! Maybe more videos in the future of other Alberta riding areas? I've talked to guys on chairlifts at several different parks who know of my local mtn and who have all ridden there and loved it. We may not have quantity, but what we do have is quality. 6min shuttle runs, on old school tech courses, mmmm.

I wonder if gopro will ever make one that isn't terribly ugly and have a "low profile" model.

I dunno, I've seen some nice, blurry photos.

Its open to the public, you just have to push up. 40 min push to the highest trail enterance and 7 min down some of the best trails I've ridden. But keep in mind only 2 of 8 trails out there are legal so if you get harassed don't blame me.

my guess is that when you hit the water with such force the paddle gets ripped out of your hands anyways, so may as well throw it to where it won't hit you. But thats just a guess

No. If the aluminum on your knee pad is stronger than your top tube...you have bigger issues to deal with than a dented top tube.
